Greg Werdick was to fly home after the doubleheader in Seattle. Taylor offered Greg the manager position and after speaking with his wife he took the job. Werdick's wife and mother-in-law drove their camper from San Diego.

Werdick finally contated
Greg Werdick finally contacted Ken and they talked about the 1974 season of the New Westminster Frasers. Werdick was flown to Seattle by GM Dean Taylor to review the team during a doubleheader . Greg was to fly home toe San Diego after the game.
